Sales Associate, LOS ALTOS, CA

SETHI is a fine jewelry designer gallery in downtown Los Altos. We’re looking for a self-starter who is bright and motivated to work with customers to develop client relations, deliver high quality service, and facilitate back office retail operations. Job hours are from 10am to 6pm Tuesday through Saturday and additional hours are required for special events. We are growing company and are excited for each team member to thrive in their careers here!


  • Deliver a positive shopping experience, high level of customer service, and go above and beyond through entire selling process
  • Maintain an active, accurate and organized client book, contacting clients regularly on new product, trunk shows, and special occasions
  • Provide appropriate follow-up on all sales or client requests within 24 hours
  • Foster open and constructive communication to ensure a consistent exceptional experience and contribute to a positive working environment
  • Conduct necessary inventory reconciliation, inventory entry, and administrative tasks
  • Adapt to change and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Share product knowledge and brand story to customers for each product
  • Utilize new technology, POS systems, and tools to efficiently manage tasks and improve work flow
  • Daily set up and breakdown of product in the store
  • Critically think through problems and find effective solutions to ensure meet clients’ needs
  • Communicate with vendors and production team regularly to deliver the right product
  • Follow projects and special order timelines closely to ensure product is delivered on time and accurately to client
  • Create robust wishlists for clients and offer suggestions that meets their needs
  • Assist team to fulfill online orders and shipping
  • Is highly professional, approachable, knowledgeable, patient, and gracious in all interactions

  • Digitally savvy
  • Knows how to use the Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Google Suite, Shopify
  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, business or related field
